عن المؤلف | Tom Pey was born in 1953 in the small town of Birr in the heartlands of Southern Ireland. Using his own talent and the wisdom gained working in his parents' corner shop, he rose at a very young age to senior positions in a succession of international companies-a route that soon led him to New York. In his mid-30s, spurred on by the constant desire for new challenges, he became a senior partner in a successful London-based financial consultancy practice, through which he held leading positions on the boards of a large number of client companies. Tom lost his sight in 1991, as a result of a long-forgotten childhood accident. Following a period of rehabilitation, he took an MA in novel writing at the University of Manchester. Today, Tom is policy director for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, the world's largest providers of guide dogs for visually impaired people. Tom lives in London with his partner, Mimi and their five children. |
