وصف الكتاب | This is the first book dedicated to the entire field of integrated chemical processes, covering process design, analysis, operation and control of these processes. Both the editors and authors are internationally recognized experts from different fields in industry and academia, and their contributions describe all aspects of intelligent integrations of chemical reactions and physical unit operations such as heat exchange, separational operations and mechanical unit operations. As a unique feature, the book also introduces new concepts for treating different integration concepts on a generalized basis.
Of great value to a broad audience of researchers and engineers from industry and academia. |
عن المؤلف | Prof. Kai Sundmacher studied mechanical and chemical engineering at the Universities in Hannover, in Braunschweig and in Clausthal. After his Ph.D. (1995) and his Habilitation (1998) at Clausthal University of Technology, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Newcastle–upon–Tyne, UK. In 1999 he became full professor for Process Systems Engineering at the Otto–von–Guericke–University Magdeburg. Since 2001 he is also the Director for Process Engineering at the Max–Planck–Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg.
Prof. Achim Kienle received his Dipl.–Ing. in Chemical Engineering, his Ph.D. and his Habilitation from the University of Stuttgart. He is leading a research group on synthesis and dynamics of chemical processes at the Max–Planck–Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems in Magdeburg since 1998. In addition, he is holding the chair for Automation / Modeling at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Otto–von–Guericke–University Magdeburg since 2002.
Prof. Andreas Seidel–Morgenstern studied Chemical Process Engineering at the University Leuna–Merseburg. He received his Habilitation from the Technical University in Berlin. In 1995 he became full professor for Chemical Process Engineering at the Otto–von–Guericke–University Magdeburg. In 2000 he received the Max Buchner Award of the DECHEMA. Since July 2002 he is also Director of Department of "Physical and Chemical Foundation of Process Engineering" at the Max–Planck–Institute in Magdedburg. |
