Maintaining this filter is a breeze. The filter sponge can be easily cleaned or replaced; The bio ceramic balls are washable and reusable, and you can also customize your filter media. Remember, don't use tap water to clean – just rinse or squeeze the sponges using aquarium water.
Installing the filter is straightforward – Insert the L-connector and connect it to an air pump. Wet the sponge, let it sink, and turn on the air pump. Note that the filter requires a 4mm/0.16" inner diameter air hose and a suitable air pump (air pump and hose not included in the packge).
