UT682, wire tracer consists of a transmitter and a receiver, can trace ethernet/phone/power cables without opening their insulation. The UT682 can troubleshoot ethernet cables and is a recommended tool for debugging communications cables and audio/video cables.
It can be used to test continuity and check polarity on telephone lines.
