Vanguard Alta BH-100 Ball Head

The Vanguard Alta BH-100 is an Arca-type ball head that has a 10kg load capacity and can be attached to tripods or other support systems featuring a 3/8"-16 mount.

Cameras or accessories compatible with the 1/4"-20 mount can be attached to the included QS-60 V2 Quick Release Plate. The quick release plate can be easily attached and removed from the integrated clamp located on the top of the head. A retention pin is located between the jaws of the clamp. This pin An installed QS-60V2 prevents the plate from accidentally slipping when the clamp is opened.The plate has a non-slip platform, while two built-in spirit levels along the edges of the clamp allow for fine adjustment in horizontal or vertical directions.

By loosening the ball's primary locking knob, the head's ball-and-socket joint can be quickly rotated, angled, fully tilted, or brought to an upright position. By rotating the friction knob on this locking button, the desired level of tension can be applied to the movements of the ball. Apart from this lock, there is a secondary locking knob that controls the 360° rotating movement of the head.
