About the Author | Erik M. Hines is a Professor in the Counseling Program located in the Division of Child, Family, and Community Engagement at George Mason University, USA. Dr. Hines prepares pre-service school counselors, and his research agenda focuses on the academic and career outcomes of Black males. He is a proud American Counseling Association (ACA) Fellow and recipient of the Al Dye Award from the Association for Specialists in Group Work.Edward C.
