Overview It is a safety (hat) material that protects the head of people working in facilities against impacts, falling objects and electric shocks (at low voltage) in case of an accident.
Colors also mean different things in hard hats.

BENEFITS OF USING A HELMET
*
*It protects the head from injury when heavy materials are thrown or fall on the head from above.
*
*It prevents accidents caused by long hair getting wrapped around the rotating part of the machine due to the effect of static electricity while working.
*Helmet is most commonly used as head protection.
STRUCTURE OF HELMETS
It is manufactured from an insulating material similar to a dome with a visor on the front, without any holes or metal parts, resistant to impact, moisture, heat, oil, water, acid, sweat and electricity, weighing not more than 450 grams as a single piece. The helmet has overhead and surrounding straps that ensure contact with the head. The girth band should be made of a soft and non-sweating material with a width of not less than 30 mm, and should also be designed to have a ventilation gap of at least 5 mm with the helmet, and should be adjustable so that people of different sizes can wear it.There should be at least 4 overhead straps and they should be firmly combined with the surrounding straps, and the distance between the inside of the helmet and the top of the head should not be less than 30 mm. The helmet should fit the head at least 8 cm and should not fall off the head while working prone. The helmet must be resistant to the breakdown voltage of 20,000 V at 50 Hz. This voltage value should never be considered as the voltage value that will provide protection to the user.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF HELMETS
one.Norm number: EN 397
2.The helmet must be made of material resistant to impact, moisture, heat, oil, acid, sweat and electricity.
3.There should be a maximum of 5 protrusions extending from front to back, which are made to strengthen the body of the helmet.
4. The visor of the helmet should be minimum 4 cm and maximum 5 cm, and the angle with the body should not obstruct vision.
5. The helmet is optionally manufactured under number 3. These are 50-54, 54-57 and 57-62 cm.
6.The helmet head circumference band should be adjustable. Its width should not be less than 30 mm.
7.The sweatband may be a part of the head circumference band, or it may be removable or removable. The sweatband should be large enough to cover at least the forehead area.
8.The head circumference band must be equipped with at least 4 overhead bands, the width of the head band must be minimum 20 mm. should be.
9.The helmet should be designed to breathe.
a-) When the head circumference band is adjusted to the largest number, the clearance between the helmet and the head should not be smaller than mm.
b-) When the overhead straps are adjusted, there should be a gap of 30 mm between the top point of the helmet.
10.Protective pad, rubber, plastic foam etc. It must be made of a flexible material.
11.) The chin strap must be made of suitable material, at least 13 mm wide and adjustable.
12.) The part of the helmet that fits the head should not be less than 80 mm and the helmet should not fall off the head when working at an angle.
13.) The weight of the helmet with all its parts should not exceed 450 grams.
14.) The helmet must have the insulation to withstand a voltage of 20,000 V at 50 Hz for 3 minutes.
15.)The helmet must be resistant to the mechanical tests specified in TS 2429.
For occupational safety specialist, fire, defense personnel and quality control teams.Protects the head in case of electric shock. It protects from accidents that may occur when the head hits hard and sharp parts due to head movement to the right or left while working.
