| About the Author | Adi Elazari is a former merchant navy officer, a women pioneer in the field of shipping in Israel andaround the globe. Since the age of thirteen, Adi's dream was to sail across the seas and oceans. She is agraduate of the Maritime School in Acre Israel, and the Warsash Maritime Academy in SouthamptonEngland. Adi is the first woman in the State of Israel to reach Chief Mate rank, an historical achievementin nautical practice.Elazari published 'Discover the Horizon', a book she had worked on for seven years.
