Book Description | This book deals with the most important features of strategic planning and its models in education, reviewing some of the pioneering Arab experiences in the field of education planning, explaining through description, analysis and evaluation of those experiences. As the current situation of education revealed a number of gaps and strategic issues in the performance of the education system, and the existence of many aspects of criticism of the strategic plans that sought to reform and develop the general education system, and were often characterized by stereotyping, formalism and weak implementation, it became necessary to take a comprehensive measure to reform and develop the education system according to an organized and realistic educational strategic plan to meet the requirements of sustainable development. Therefore, the author provided in this book a guiding model for a strategic plan aimed at reviving education in all Arab countries, following the steps and stages of the latest and most successful global models "Pfeiffer Model", taking into account all contemporary variables and developments and the subsequent technological, technical and cognitive discoveries, in an attempt to bring about a qualitative shift in general education, planning for it and working to advance it. The author hopes that the procedural model he has presented will be an incentive and guide for those responsible for education in all Arab countries to be guided by it and consider it as a future guideline in the field of education planning. |
