| Book Description | Empowering Women through Cooking - UAE is a project that includes the stories and recipes of 55 women who live in the United Arab Emirates and come from different national backgrounds, religions, socio-economic levels, struggles and talents. This project is a validation that civil society, public sector, private sector, academia, impact funds, and aid agencies can (and must) work together on empowering women socially and economically while giving back to the community. Part of the proceeds go to Feeding All which proudly supports the UN World Food Programme. This cookbook allows you to travel to the United Arab Emirates and experience its uniquely diverse nature through the many delicious dishes brought by people from different origins and backgrounds, who now call the United Arab Emirates home. |
