| About the Author | Maaike Voorhoeve is a PhD Candidate in the Department of General Jurisprudence, Law Faculty, University of Amsterdam. She holds postgraduate degrees in Law and Islamic Studies from and teaches at the University of Amsterdam. Baudouin Dupret is Research Fellow at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS). He is the author of numerous works on law and politics in the Muslim World, and is co-editor of Narratives of Truth in Islamic Law (I.B. Tauris, 2008). |
