Accords of woods, citrus, fruit and spices are harmoniously blended to form a scent as complex as you. Top notes of pineapple, lavender, lemon verbena and bergamot offer a citrus pick-me-up. This slowly melts to a layered heart accord featuring rose, apple, oakmoss, geranium and dried fruits. An inviting base of sultry tonka bean and sandalwood lasts long into the night. Launched in 2011, MontBlanc Legend comes packaged in a striking black and silver flacon and is available as an eau de toilette spray and a deodorant stick. Olivier Pescheux, the perfumer behind this fresh fougere creation, tried to make the fragrance filled with contrasts, combining notes that evoke strength and tenderness, tradition and modernity. The composition opens with fresh aromatic tones of bergamot, lavender, pineapple leaf and exotic verbena (Litsea Cubeba). The heart emphasizes oakmoss note (evernyl molecule) merged with geranium, coumarin, apple, rose, and Pomarosa molecule (notes of dried fruit). The base contains sandalwood, tonka and evernyl. About the brand: MONTBLANC produces a wide range of products, including goods for travel, writing implements, watches and jewellery, among other products. A Hamburg banker, Alfred Nehemias, and a Berlin engineer, August Eberstein, produced simple pens in 1906. After a short period of time Wilhelm Dziambor, Christian Lausen, and later Claus Johannes Voss took over the business. Their first model was the Rouge et Noir in 1909 followed in 1910 by the pen that was later to give the company its new name, MONTBLANC. The Meisterstuck name was used for the first time in 1924.
