Installation guide for PC ( Windows / Mac )

1. Uninstall all the existing office applications from your PC. (This is very important to avoid any confliction issue)

2. Restart your PC.

Step 1, Sign-in at Microsoft Official website to download office:

2.    Log out of your Microsoft account if you are logged in already.

3.    Login using the username and password you have received.

4.    After login, it will prompt you to change the password. Set a new password and click ‘next’ (remember your new password for future use).

5.    Set a recovery phone number and email for authentication and account security purpose.

6.    Click ‘Finish’.

7.    Once you are signed into the Microsoft office home page, select ‘Install Office’ in the top right corner of the page and click ‘Office 365 apps’.

8.    This will start the installer download.

9.    Once the download is completed, open the installer file to install the office.

Step 2, Install Office:

1.    Once the download is completed, open the downloaded file.

2.    Depending on your browser, select Run(in Edge or Internet Explorer), Setup (in Chrome) or Save File (in Firefox).

3.    If you see the message “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”, Select yes to proceed. Installation begins.

4.    Click ‘close’ once the installation is successfully completed.

5.    Continue to activate the office and enjoy!

Step 3, Enable automatic update

1.    To open an Office app, select the start button and type the name of any Office app, example: type ‘Word’

2.    Click the Word icon and open the app.

3.    Click continue in the welcome window.

4.    Unselect the ‘Allow my organization to manage my device’ and click ‘ok’.

5.    Wait until all is set and click ‘Done’.

6.    Accept the license agreement and the license and the Office Automatic Update service will be activated on your PC.
