About the Author | Honore Paelinck is a Master of Economics & Maritime Sciences and a Master in Maritime Law. After a seafaring career of seven years he worked in the ship repair and cargo handling business in the Port of Antwerp. Between 1991 and 2005 he was Managing Director of his own consulting firm, Port & Transport Consulting, and has worked regularly for the World Bank, the European Commission and several international banking organisations and private enterprises. He writes regularly on ports, economics and shipping. |
