Gunter is an Associate Professor, Co-chair of the Instructional Design & Technology programs at the University of Central Florida, and has a PhD in Instructional/Educational Technology. She has a strong background in K-20 education, instructional design, digital media and technology, curriculum integration, K-12 literacy, and program development and evaluation. Dr Gunter is the recipient of the 2010 Sloan-C Award for Excellence in Online Teaching. Gary B. Shelly wrote and published his first computer education textbook in 1969.
