- The recommended dose rates are: 15 mg Febantel, 14.4 mg Pyrantel and 5 mg Praziquantel per 1 kg bodyweight, i.e. 1 tablet per 10 kg bodyweight.

OverviewFor Cats & Dogs For the treatment of mixed infections with roundworms and bandworms in dogs and cats, caused by: Worms: - Toxocara canis - Toxascaris leonina Hookworms: - Uncinaria stenocephala - Ancylostoma caninum Whipworm: - Trichuris vulpis Bandworms: - Echinococcus granulosus - Echinococcus multilocularis - Dipylidium caninum - Taenia spp. - Multiceps multiceps - Mesocestoides spp. Due to the earliest possible occurrence of a bandworm infection in the newborn dog after the third week of life, the treatment with Vermis -Ex after diagnosis of a mixed infection is only indicated after the third week of life.
