| وصف الكتاب | It's true that "the terrifying one," as Darwish used to call it, did not promise him any subsequent publication, but he was certain that it would happen, especially after he reiterated this to her, explicitly, for the second time, when he called her from Jordan in the spring of 2008, wishing: "Announce the papers, at least 5 years later, and publish them as my gift and surprise, through your hands. I, the undersigned, Mahmoud Darwish." In the beginning of 1991, a journalism encounter brought her together with the poet Mahmoud Darwish, which he documented for her in his own handwriting, carrying within it the seeds of a friendship that would last until the poet's final days and his recommendations to her in late winter 2007: "I have left papers with you that I truly loved writing. You know that I dedicated more than one evening to completing them, so do you appreciate my efforts and keep them safe for my readers?" |
