Joe Topping currently is a professor of analytical chemistry at Towson State University. He did his post-doc at Iowa State Univeristy in Ames. At Towson, he has been honored with such awards as the "Outstanding Faculty Award" and the "Faculty Merit Award". He has written ancillaries for an outstanding text, Atkins - General Chemistry and is heavily involved with the American Chemical Society.
Dr. Danai? Quirk Dorr, Professor of Chemistry at Minnesota State University, Mankato, has been active in co-facilitating flipped classroom and team-based learning workshops for faculty through the schools Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. Dr. Quirk Dorr completed her undergraduate work at the College of St. Scholastica (Biochemistry and Biology), her doctoral work at the University of Minnesota (Medicinal Chemistry), and her post-graduate work at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota. She is currently serving as chair of the Education Committee of the Minnesota Section of the American Chemical Society and is an Associate Member of the ACS Committee on Education. Dr. Quirk Dorr is actively conducting research within the field of chemical education with special focus on technology in learning environments. |
