Physiotherapy and occupational therapy offer innovative solutions to the management of these disorders and improvement of the quality of life. A major research direction in rheumatology is the understanding of the role of autoimmunity in rheumatic diseases, and the association of the immune system with joints and bones. The objective of this book is to give a general view of the different areas of rheumatology and rheumatological disorders. The various studies that are constantly contributing towards evolution of this field are examined in detail.
