She is also a certified international referee in forms (poomsae) and fights. Master Mandel is honored by the "TaeKwonDo Hall of Fame" for her international contributions to martial arts. MASTER ALEX MAN holds a 5th-degree black belt in Taekwondo. He practices martial arts for over 30 years, for the last few years practicing the Moo Duk Kwan Taekwondo.
