المراجعة التحريرية | The Assam election was a complex one for BJP. Because historically it never had a stronger foothold in the region. However, as with many regions in India, people have been fooled into sacrificing their own interest in the "make belief" of serving a greater "secular cause". Anyone who believes in it, would be proud of it. Naturally, because being secular is a rational concept, naturally right approach to one's political inclinations. But the propensity of people to be instinctively secular towards politics has been exploited. And to set it right, the exploitation has led to loot of people's legitimate wealth and being. Like how the python crushes it's prey, with every breath out of the animal, the python constricts it even more so that it can not take a breath in. And the prey finally dies out of breath. Similarly the Muslim population has steadily been made to increase in the Assam region by vested interests deep into 100 years of history. From almost nil, to little more than 34% of the Muslim population have been illegally migrated from Bangladesh. And there are apparatus, mostly driven by Middle Eastern syndicates that fund and fuel this migration as means to not only enslave those migrants, but also destroy and decimate the existence of the original Assamese population. And like the constriction tactics of the python, it is slow or gradual but steady. --ByThe taste of Classicon 28 November 2017, This book is worth the buy. It gives a rare insight to the Historical aspect of the last battle of saraighat in the present context of Assam and how important the election of 2016 was to save our identity. It gives you Goosebumps at times. Truly Gripping. Seems lot of research has been done by the writers. I would go further and request all the Larger Assamese Society wherever you are in the world and whichever ideology you belong to please read the book not as a BJP supporter but as a true Assamese. --ByVIKASH KASHYAPon 29 November 2017 |
