About the Author | María Teresa Muñoz Espinosa is an archaeologist. She studied at the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia (Degree in Archaeology) and at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (Master in History of the Art and Doctorate in Meso-American Studies). Professor-Researcher Full Time: Dirección de Estudios Arqueológicos del INAH. Head of the Project Archaeological North of the State of Querétaro, Mexico, from 1990. This project had financing of CONACyT (2003-2006). Investigation periods in the Universities of Texas in Austin and California in Berkeley, U.S. She has published diverse works around their investigation area, among them her books Cultura e historia de la Sierra Gorda de Querétaro, México (2007) published by CONACyT and the editorial Plaza y Valdés, and “Los animales enseñaron el camino…” La fauna de la Sierra Gorda queretana a través de sus representaciones cerámicas arqueológicas (2021), published by Archaeopress. |
