He was the president of the Islamic American College in Chicago and a professor in the Department of Religion at Temple University in Pennsylvania. He has authored and co-authored many research papers and books, the most important of which is "Monotheism: Its Implications for Thought and Life". She has taught at Bethel University, Pennsylvania University, Villanova University, and the Department of Religion at Temple University.
