Based in Seattle, WA, our designers take pride in creating useful gadgets that solve problems in the kitchen, and ultimately making food prep more enjoyable. The process begins with our passion for at-home cooking, and continues as we push boundaries to create clever, new designs. Happy cooking, happy kitchens. Chef’n was founded out of invention. In the 1980s, David Holcomb was a line cook prepping food; his most hated task was pressing garlic, one clove at a time. He took his frustration to the workshop and invented the garlic machine, a gadget that both presses and stores multiple garlic cloves at one time. Today, the Chef’n product line includes over 300 patents worldwide and has expanded into categories across housewares, using David's same spirit of inventiveness. We create clever solutions for common problems.
