Coco glycoside is a nonionic surfactant in the alkyl polyglycoside family.
Derived from vegetable sugars and fatty alcohols, this substance is very light and gentle compared to traditional anionic surfactants.
It is 100% renewable plant source.
It is tolerant to high electrolyte formulations.
It can work fully compatible with other surfactants.
It is easy to thicken with natural polymers.
It is environmentally friendly as it is easily biodegradable.
It provides very good foaming power to the products.
Add to the surfactant phase of the product.
It is ideal to keep the pH of the finished product between 3.0 and 5.0.
Recommended usage rate: 2.0% to 30.0%
Coco Glycoside can be easily thickened with the following ingredients.
Anionic surfactants
natural polymers
Xanthan gum 0.3 to 10%
Carrageenan 1 to 10%
Carboxymethyl cellulose 0.8 to 10%
synthetic polymers
Carbomer 0.5 to 10%
Hair coloring products (compatible with ammonia and cationic substances)
Shampoos, conditioners
Hair straightening products (compatible with sodium/potassium hydroxides) and permanent wave products (fixers are compatible)
Dermatological liquid soaps
Sensitive skin cleansers
shaving foam
bath bubbles
shower gels
Cleaners
Wet wipes
Security precautions:
As with all surfactants, avoid getting the product in your eyes when working with the surfactant. Wash your hands after the procedure.
