She is also very interested in emergent research technologies and in e-health and is experienced in developing on-line learning resources. Furthermore, she is interested in Public Patient Involvement and is interested in research in complementary medicine and the placebo. With a huge amount of experience in conducting health services research, she recently edited a textbook: An Introduction to Health Services Research (2014). SAGE. She mainly teaches statistics and quantitative research methods at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She is the deputy programme director on the BSc Healthcare: Management Policy and Research.
