Overview

The Okuma Itx Carbon Spinning Reel is Built for Height. Lightweight and rigid C-40x long strand carbon fiber is incorporated into the body, side plates and rotor, providing extra strength where it’s needed most. The machined aluminum reel bolts directly to the spool for maximum security and consistency. The 7hpb + 1rb high-performance bearing system with precision machine-cut brass pinion gear keeps the reel running smoothly in freshwater and inshore. The machined aluminum 2-tone anodized spool is surrounded by Okuma’s cyclonic flow rotor system, which increases airflow through the ported rotor, shortening dry-out time and minimizing corrosion to the spool. The reel features a multi-disc carbon fiber drag system with hydroblock seals that keep water out and maintain traction.
