The book does not only talk about Jalaluddin Rumi, but rather begins by discussing the history of Sufism and its development until the era of Jalaluddin Rumi. Then it begins by discussing Jalaluddin’s biography, life and upbringing, then his writings and works. Then it devotes a chapter to his relationship with Sufism and his Sufi views.
The last chapter of the book is devoted to Jalaluddin Rumi’s influence by theology and his most important philosophical views, which led some to classify him among the scholars of theology, and not among the scholars of Islamic Sufism. |
