About the Author | Neil Brenner is Professor of Urban Theory at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. Brenner is among the most widely cited contemporary urban theorists. Previous books include New State Spaces: Urban Governance and the Rescaling of Statehood; Implosions/Explosions: Towards a Study of Planetary Urbanization (editor); and Critique of Urbanization.
