Usage Capacity
The first truly ergonomic sling, the Polyester Sling is used worldwide for heavy lifts and wire rope slings. Polyester Sling weighs about 10% more than steel slings. Vertical capacity is standard product and larger capacity heavy lifting slings are available. Workload capacity is based on connection points with equal or higher strength.
Straight Lift on polyester slings
The lifting point for slings must be perpendicular to the center of gravity.
Lifting with two slings
For cloth rope slings, the lifting point should be equally perpendicular to the center of gravity on both sides. In this type of lifting, both cloth slings must be manufactured from the same raw material.
Lifting with Three or 4 Slings
Lifting points for polyester slings should be distributed on the same plane around the center of gravity on the center and be perpendicular on it.
Definitely pay attention to the lifting angle A. The greater this pain, the lower the carrying capacity of the cloth sling. The angle above 60° is not allowed.
For lifting slings with three and four slings, only the angle in the two sling system should be calculated, depending on the largest angle in unbalanced loads.
