In this book, we read how doctors, nurses and other assistant specialists worked to study the best ways for patients to recover and dispense with life support devices, and to recover from the delirium that affects some intensive care patients, and to rehabilitate them. These efforts crystallized into an integrated global program called the (ABCDEF) package, which aims to accelerate recovery and involve the patient's family in the treatment plan.
As a doctor working in the Middle East, it is my great pleasure to see medicine in our region rise to the highest international levels, and our advanced hospitals are the greatest witness to that; they provide the best services for the most severe cases of illness, and I see in translating this book a wonderful step to deliver a message to our readers full of hope and healing.
