| About the Author | Henk Schiffmacher, artista e historiador del tatuaje afincado en Ãmsterdam, es una leyenda viva en el mundo del tatuaje. Schiffmacher, que lleva desde la década de 1970 viajando por todo el mundo, ha reunido una de las mayores colecciones de objetos contemporáneos e históricos del universo del tatuaje, llamada Schiffmacher Tattoo Heritage. Ha tatuado a muchas estrellas del rock y del pop, y su estudio atrae a incontables devotos del tatuaje. Director y escritor, ha publicado más de veinte libros, entre los cuales se encuentra el tÃtulo de TASCHEN 1000 Tattoos, y ha realizado diseños para muchas marcas.
