| Book Description | Ibn Sina is a unique genius worthy of admiration, as he has a high position in the register of geniuses to whom humanity owes a lot. He excelled in philosophy and medicine, and wrote on jurisprudence, language, logic and ethics. He delved deeply into theology, studied physics, astronomy, meteorology, chemistry, engineering, geology and climatology, and wrote on politics and economics, composed poetry and interpreted the Qur’an. Above all, he was a man of politics who ventured into it and shifted between its tasks. His fame reached the rulers of his time, so they invited him to their councils to be adorned with him and his knowledge. He moved between the Islamic emirates in the east of the Islamic Caliphate, and held several scientific and political positions. Because of this distinguished position of Ibn Sina and his genius, the various Islamic nationalities disputed over him. The Iranians claimed to own him, the Arabs said that he was from them, and the Russians attributed him to them. This dispute reflects the importance and position that Ibn Sina occupied in the history of civilization! |
