About the Author | Deborah Lambert has a wealth of experience as a school teacher and lecturer in further education. Deborah works with schools across the country, offering curriculum-linked outdoor learning sessions with classes and training and support for teachers. She led the international Erasmus+ Natural Schooling project and is chair of the Natural Schooling Research Interest Group.Sue Waite, a former primary schoolteacher and Associate Professor in Outdoor Learning at the University of Plymouth, is a member of the International School Grounds Alliance Leadership group. She led Natural Connections, an ambitious UK demonstration project about curriculum learning in natural environments, funded by Natural England, DEFRA and Historic England.Michelle Roberts is an Assistant Headteacher, Sports Partnership Director and a consultant in PE and outdoor learning. Michelle has a wealth of experience working in primary schools across the south west of England providing continuous professional development in outdoor leadership for teachers, and site development. The successful Wild Tribe outdoor learning programme has underpinned this work, and the newly developed Earth Tribe supports the development of a sustainable curriculum.Dr. Alun Morgan is Senior Lecturer in Education at the University of Plymouth where he leads courses on Environmental and Sustainability Education and Outdoor Learning. He has over 30 years of experience in education including as a school teacher, advisor, lecturer and researcher. |
