Book Description | “I used to read the book and your book I liked, and you say that it is for your children and grandchildren, and you had to say: This is for the children of the entire kingdom; Because it is an excellent book because of the experience it contains and self-taught.” “I sat all night reading this book of yours, Mansour, and did not sleep for a moment, and went to the office without sleep; Because I sat on it from ten in the evening until seven in the morning, and I went to the office without sleeping.” King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God protect him “As soon as I finished reading it, I felt boundless pleasure, and are art and literature nothing but enjoyment and sociability?” Dr.. Ahmed Al-Badly “Reading the book (Pages of My Life) is an infinite pleasure, and reading it attracts the reader; Even when I started with it, I stopped reading what I had in my hands and devote myself to reading it and finishing it.” His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Khuwaiter - may God have mercy on him - “The characteristics of honesty, simplicity, and spontaneity are the clearest and strongest evidence that the writer was writing with the creative writer’s transparent pen without flatness, and the simple without vulgarity.” Dr.. Liked by Al-Zahrani “I read the book (Pages of My Life) and found its pages as enjoyable in the broadest sense of the word, as wonderful as the finest walks, and as valuable as the best books are.” Dr.. Aziza Al Mana “The first thing that catches your eye in the biography of Mansour Al-Khuraiji (Pages of My Life) is that it captivates you from the first page, (and by the way, Brother Mansour writes as he speaks, and it is a rare ability, which has a spontaneity that hardly distinguishes it from high art).” Dr.. Izzat Khattab “The book gives a birth certificate to a new writer, but it combines all the skills of an experienced writer.” a. Mohammed Omar Al-Amoudi "Mansour Al-Khuraiji's novelist style is characterized by the innocence of instinct and the purity of systematic honesty that is not false, artificial or exaggerated in craft and art." Dr. Safaa Abu Talib |
About the Author | Mansour bin Mohammed Al-Khuraiji She was born in 1935 AD, and received a secondary certificate from the Mission Preparation School in Makkah al-Mukarramah in 1953 AD. She obtained a BA in English Literature from Cairo University in 1958. I worked as an inspector in the Ministry of Education, then moved to King Saud University as a teaching assistant there. She obtained a postgraduate diploma in English literature from the University of Leeds in 1961, then returned from America to take a break after studying consecutively for four years; For the first two years, she earned her master's degree from the University of Nebraska. After that, I moved to the University of New Mexico, where I spent four years preparing for a doctorate, and completed all the so-called (course work) in it. English literature teaches any subject of its specialization, such as: novel, criticism, drama...etc. After I completed all the so-called course work, I returned to the Kingdom to take a break, and during my stay in Riyadh, and of course I was studying at the university, the translator of King Faisal - may God have mercy on him - fell ill, so the Royal Court searched for an alternative translator, and they brought a number of translators They did not succeed, and they finally found me, so I moved to the royal court, and I succeeded in translating for King Faisal and our kings who came after him, and the dream of a doctorate was lost, but I earned a title more expensive than a doctorate, which is: Translator of Kings, praise be to God. I have a number of books, including: (What the Job Didn't Say): It is my very successful autobiography, of which I am writing this word on the occasion of a new edition. And a novel called: (Additional Lessons), then a group of articles in a book called: (Jared’s Words), then a book: (From the Angles of Memory), then a translation of the Danish traveler Ronquiere’s book: (Through the Arabian Peninsula on the Back of a Camel), then a novel entitled: ( Zero hour). Then a manuscript of a novel ready for publication entitled: (Husbands and Wives). |
