| About the Author | Whitney Stewart is an award-winning author of young adult biographies, middle grade novels, and picture books. She has traveled widely in Asia and interviewed such figures as the 14th Dalai Lama, Aung San Suu Kyi, and Sir Edmund Hillary. She began meditating when she was in high school and has studied with Tibetan Buddhist teachers and secular mindfulness instructors. Whitney is currently a Mindfulness meditation instructor for children, young adults, and college students. She has taught at Tulane University and Loyola University New Orleans. For fun, Whitney loves to travel, read, meditate, hike, bike, kayak, and do yoga. |
