| عن المؤلف | J. Hale Turner credits her love for reading to her parents. "My sister and I both learned to read prior to starting school. As a family, we read stories and had Bible lessons on a weekly basis." Reading still remains a family tradition. One of her favorite pastime is entertaining - "especially with the senior members of our family and friends, and they enjoy my cooking, too." For relaxation, she has tea or coffee every morning on the porch relishing "the sights and my comical hummingbirds... and it's my special time to give Him thanks and to meditate." Her veggie garden is doing well this year and she's making plans for an added variety of veggies for her next planting. "I was born in a large city, but have a down-home country heart." Ms. Turner lives with her family in North Carolina. |
