😎 Why choose our UV Tester Cards?

Reptile UV test card could be used to test the UVB intensity of various lamps. Not a precision instrument, but can give you advice when to replace the bulb.

To use this card, all you do is put the testing card under the UV light and observe. If there is enough UV being put out, the color will appear clearly on the testing card. ​When the card absorbs enough UVB, it finally changes its color from white to purple.

Replace the bulb annually or sooner if the card doesn't show any color, a card can be used up to 500 times when used in 10-seconds increments.

Providing the right type of heat to a reptile is just as important as the temperatures.

Quick Test UVB Cards

Place the card at the irradiation point under ultraviolet light (within 2 inch from the lamp) and wait for 10 seconds to detect whether the lamp has ultraviolet rays.

Before UV detection, the cartoon lizard pattern is the detection area, and the detection area becomes white. After UV detection, the detection area changes from white to purple.

The card can be used 500 times when used in increments of 10 seconds.
