Eventually the pair found their feet, Brece earned her keep by keeping the dogs in order whilst Laura dealt with the owners. Whilst watching over her furry friends in the evening she makes her observations of the dogs especially in relation to the pack mentality. Trials and Tribulations of a Pet Sitter describes the hilarious antics that she encountered and also the many highs and the lows whilst trying to keep her customers pets safe. The lowest point being committing the cardinal sin by losing a customers beloved dog on more than one occasion. Laura Marchant is the Bridget Jones of the pet sitting world! |
| عن المؤلف | As a child Laura and her siblings were fortunate enough to own shares in the family pet dog. Being part owner and loving the family dog formed the blueprint for a large part of Laura's life, she quickly became passionate about dogs. But it wasn't just her own dogs that she loved but other peoples dogs too. Finally At the age of 50 Laura followed her heart and set up her own pet sitting business. Living with only dogs for over 6 years she makes her observations of the animals. In partucular to the pack mentality and also the similarities between the dog's behavior and many of the Buddhist beliefs, making for a simplistic yet happy life. |
