Derby Tube is a solvent-based adhesive containing polychloroprene. Where it is used: Derby Tube is an adhesive that can be applied in upper leather, textile, leather and neolith sole bonding processes. Application: Both surfaces of the material to be bonded are sanded. Dust resulting from sanding is carefully cleaned. Possible oils and dirt on the material are cleaned with cleaning solvent. Derby Tube Neolite is applied once to leather or porous materials twice with a clean brush every 30 minutes. It is kept at room temperature for 15-30 minutes to ensure that the solvent on the surface of the material evaporates. After the material is bonded, it should be pressed at least 3 bars. Pressing Time Is At Least 10 Seconds. Derby Tube Shows Thickening Below 0° Like All Neoprene Based Adhesives. If the adhesive in this state is kept at room temperature for 1 day, it will regain its previous state. It should never be heated over fire.
