Features:
Traditional craftsmanship: The matcha whisk is a traditional tea making tool with rich history and cultural heritage, representing the spirit and ritual of the Japanese tea ceremony.
Even Mixing: Blenders, usually made of multiple thin bamboo tips, can mix matcha powder and hot water quickly and evenly, producing rich foam. This ensures a smooth and even texture to the matcha.
Premium Foam: Matcha stirrers produce foam that is typically finer and longer-lasting, adding visual appeal and a creamy texture to matcha.
Durability: Although matcha blenders are a natural bamboo material, they are generally sturdy and durable, retaining their shape and performance even with frequent use.
Easy maintenance: Cleaning your matcha blender usually involves rinsing it with warm water and allowing it to air dry.
How to make matcha at home
1. Prepare tools: Make sure the matcha bowl, bamboo whisk and spoon are clean and dry.
2. Measure the matcha: Use a bamboo spoon (chashaku) to measure the required amount of matcha powder. Typically, use one scoop per serving (about 1 to 1.5 teaspoons), but you can adjust this to suit your taste.
3. Sift matcha: If desired, sift matcha powder into a matcha bowl to remove clumps and ensure a smooth texture.
4. Add hot water: Heat water to approximately 175°F (80°C). Avoid using boiling water as it can cause a bitter taste. Pour a small amount of hot water (about 2-3 tablespoons) into the matcha bowl to cover the matcha powder.
5. Stir the matcha: Hold the matcha bowl with one hand, stir the matcha and hot water vigorously with a bamboo stirrer (chasen), using a "W" or "M" back and forth motion. Continue stirring until the matcha is completely dissolved and a layer of foam forms on the surface.
6. Enjoy matcha
