About the Author | Naomi E. Ervin, PhD, RN, PHCNS-BC, FNAP, FAAN, has held positions from assistant professor to endowed chair and professor. Her academic administrative positions include department head to director of a school of nursing. Throughout her career, she has been involved in research about the quality of public health nursing care and the use of evidence in public health nursing practice.
