Alpha hydroxy acid serum with 9% lactic, 5% glycolic, 1% mandelic and PHA helps visibly smooth skin texture, improves skin clarity and radiance. Use on its own as a daily treatment or to boost the results of a Skin Republic Face Mask. Alpha Hydroxy Acids Naturally derived from plant sources, the main benefit of an alpha hydroxy acid is its ability to exfoliate the skin. They essentially remove the “glue” from the upper layer of skin that holds onto the old, dead skin cells. By effectively removing that top layer of skin, the alpha hydroxy acids serve to help new skin grow. Revealing soft and silky-smooth skin. Skin may tingle. Patch test is essential. Apply a broad spectrum SPF while using the product and for a week thereafter. Do not use with other exfoliating treatments or retinoids. Can cause irritation, redness and peeling, especially around the eyes and mouth, in the early stages of treatment while skin builds tolerance.
