| About the Author | Paul Connor Cert Ed (FE), PG Cert Ed (ODE), LLB is a Police Training Consultant and has been heavily involved in training police officers for police promotion examinations for a number of years. Paul is also the consultant editor for the Blackstone's Police Manuals 2023 and author of Blackstone's Sergeants' and Inspectors' Mock Examination Paper 2023 and Blackstone's Police Investigators' Q&A 2023. David Johnston LLB, LLM is a barrister and Chief Superintendent of Specialist Operations in the Metropolitan Police Service. Formerly a member of the NPT Examinations and Assessment team, he is a former OSPRE® Assessor and previously worked as a legal researcher for the Home Office in Harrogate. Glenn Hutton BA, MPhil, Chartered FCIPD was formerly a Superintendent in North Yorkshire Police. He has worked as Head of NPT Examinations and Assessment, Head of Training in North Yorkshire and as both Course Director and Director of Studies at the Police Staff College, Bramshill.
