The book has been designed to emphasize the clinical states with which patients present; thus the failure of the immune system and its various components and their malignant transformation involve some overlap of techniques. Abberations of the immune response have been divided into autoimmunity and allergy, the former being divided, as it is clinically, into organ specific and non-organ specific varieties. |
