Lamotte DPD 1 is used to measure the free chlorine in pool water. The ideal Free Chlorine Value in pools is 1.0 - 3.0 ppm, and in drinking water it is between 0.6-0.8 ppm. This value for domestic water varies depending on the area of ​​use of the water. It is not suitable for use as the color cannot be distinguished in turbid waters.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

 

The product is only used with pill test kits. The usage method is as follows:

one-

The test tube is shaken several times with the water to be tested.

2nd-

The test tube is filled with water to be tested up to the marked part of the chlorine side.

3-

One of the chlorine tablets is dropped into the tube without touching it. The tube is capped and shaken until the tablet is dissolved.

4-

The resulting color is compared with the chlorine color chart. Similar color shows the amount of chlorine in ppm (mg/lt).
