| About the Author | Ajoy Ghatak joined IIT Delhi in 1966 and has recently retired from there as Professor of Physics. He is the recipient of several awards including the 2008 SPIE Educator award, the 2003 OSA Beller award and the 1979 CSIR SS Bhatnagar award. He is author of several books, including his undergraduate text on optics which has been translated into Chinese and Persian. His other recent books include Albert Einstein: A Glimpse of his Life, Philosophy and Science and Einstein and the Special Theory of Relativity. |
