Ezcap 170 USB 2.0 Video Recorder can capture high-quality video and audio file directly via USB 2.0 interface without a sound card. However, its installation is quite simple and does not require any external power.


It is especially advantageous in transferring recordings from old generation devices with VHS, AV, RCS connections to laptops. Points to Consider in Ezcap 170 Installation:

• Ezcap 170 capture device gets its power from the USB connection interface. Therefore, in order to capture recordings, especially from devices powered by its own battery, the USB interface must be at full power, in other words, if a laptop is used, the power saving mode must be turned off.


• All Windows 7/8/10 64 Bit drivers use the same driver. It can be installed by updating the driver from the 64 Bit folder in the CD. After checking in the device manager that the drivers are completely installed, the software installation should be started.


• If there is a device error despite the device driver being installed, there may be an incorrect installation and should be checked again.


• The blue screen warning about recording occurs when the image cannot be received from the source device. In this case, it should be checked that the video output settings of the device to be recorded are made correctly and that the cables or converters are connected smoothly and correctly.


• Arcsoft ® ShowBiz program is a professional video capture and editor program that comes free of charge with the Ezcap 170 device. The program license is on the CD envelope.
