Book Description | The book (Entrepreneurship - Theory and Practice) adopts the method of flexible emerging projects, and presents entrepreneurship as a theoretical concept and practical application at the same time, with the aim of teaching it at the university level, enriching the educational content of entrepreneurship in Arabic, and presenting examples and case studies of successful Saudi entrepreneurial projects. In the past, establishing a business followed a traditional method that required writing a business plan and presenting it to investors, then building the team, producing the product or providing the service, and then starting to sell in all possible forms, but recent research and studies have proven that this method includes exposing entrepreneurs to challenges and setbacks that increase The possibility of project failure, so a new method for creating commercial projects appeared that is less risky, which is called flexible start-up projects or agile projects, and this flexible method depends on experimentation instead of detailed planning, and on customer feedback instead of intuition, and on repetitive design construction instead It is about putting forward a great design from the beginning, and using this method increases the odds of success for emerging business projects by reducing the size of failure, so that learning can be achieved. From it and moving forward, it relies on testing hypotheses and collecting customer opinions from the beginning of the idea on an ongoing basis. This book contains ten chapters that present the basics of entrepreneurship in a gradual and interdependent manner to enable students to build their entrepreneurial project step by step, and each chapter contains a paragraph (research) for further information. From the science of entrepreneurship, a discussion paragraph (or (activity) to enrich the interaction in the classroom, and a (case study) of a Saudi entrepreneurial project to apply the concepts of the chapter to realistic examples. The end of each chapter also includes an individual assignment; Such as writing a (report), (working paper) or (reflective report), and a collective assignment related to the project project.
