This is a MinQ 2WD Plus based on MiniQ 2WD Chassis. To make it suitable for educational, competitions and fun to play, extra modules like Romeo V2 All-in-One Controller, Sharp GP2Y0A21 Distance Sensor and 9g micro servo are also added to this kit. What makes it different from the original miniQ robots is that it comes with a top deck that allows you to install sensors, servos and even do some prototyping. The leaf pads on the surface make it an ideal prototyping board on the go and it is stackable. With this top deck, you can solder not only DIP components but also SMD components. The motor wires have been soldered and pre-glued for you. With this kit, you will be able to play right away after simple assembly and programming. The sample codes include many interesting scenarios, such as obstacle avoidance.

What is Romeo V2?

RoMeo V2 [R3] is an All-in-One Arduino compatible microcontroller designed for robotics applications. Romeo leverages the Arduino open source platform, is supported by thousands of open source codes, and can be easily expanded with Arduino Shield. The integrated 2-way DC motor driver and Xbee socket allow you to instantly start your project without the need for an additional motor driver or wireless shield.
